Erick Avila, guitarist of the Chilean metal band Six Magics, has inked an endorsement deal with the German Company Engl Amps. In this big family we can also find names like Paul Stanley (Kiss), Marty Friedman (ex-Megadeth), Kai Hansen (Helloween, Gamma Ray), Alexi Lahio (COB) , Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Rainbow) and Petroza Mille (Kreator), among others.
Erick is in Germany right now promoting his first solo project entitled “Oblivion”. This promotional tour has taken him to different German cities and his album is also distributed through the German Label Nuclear Blast.
Due to his permanent work in the band, and also to his solo career and works in other bands, Six Magic’s bass player has been endorsed since november 2012 by the world-famous guitar and basses company Ibanez. This honor places him between the 150 bass players from all over the world who uses exclusively this basses. So, Mauricio shares the privilege to be next to bass players from bands like Korn, Slipknot, Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy, Sartoga, Fear Factory, Masterplan, Nile, Sonata Arctica, Deadlock, Gary Willis, among others.

The guitarist, music producer and leader of the Chilean Metal band Six Magics has just released his first solo album. After several years in which the composer was mainly concentrated into his main band’s commintments, finally the instrumental album entitled “Oblivion” is available from March in digital format via iTunes. The album contains 8 tracks and includes the participation of Six Magics’ musicians: Pablo Stagnaro and Mauricio Nader, drums and bass respectively.
This album was produced and recorded by Erick who was inspired by different places that marked his life and developed and album of 8 instrumental songs.
In Chile, the album can also be purchased through a 8GB Pendrive containing 5 videos of “Oblivion”, tabs and 8 unreleased videos of his band Six Magics.

In Japan, Falling Angels has been released through the label Radtone, one of the most important metal labels in this country. For this jabanese edition, there are some special bonus-tracks: An instrumental song called “Aachen” and a live recording at “Women in Rock Festival in Holland” , of the song “They” during the Eurpean “Behind the Sorrow Tour 2010″.
